For the month of October, we will be celebrating and highlighting our Signature Charity, The HOPE Project in honor of National Disability Employment Awareness Month. At Taziki’s we focus on the ABILITIES our special employees have because they offer so much to our lives every day. Did you know that only 35% of people with disabilities are employed? At Taziki’s we aim to close that gap every day by providing the opportunity for HOPE Project employees to work in our stores nationwide.
We’re so proud of them, we want you to meet a few of our incredibly hardworking family members!
Meet Taylor! She was recently hired at Taziki’s McCain Mall in Little Rock, Arkansas. Prior to accepting a job at Taziki’s, Taylor was a part of the program at ACCESS Schools where she grew herbs for Taziki’s restaurants in Central Arkansas. “Taylor’s smiling face brings us all joy”, said Emmanuel Jones, General Manager at McCain Mall. “We already feel like she is part of the family.”
Meet Rand, who has been apart of the Taziki’s Liberty Park family for five years now! When Rand is not working at Taziki’s or enjoying a Taziki’s Chicken Sandwich, he is cheering on Alabama football! “The Liberty Park team absolutely loves working with Rand,” said Allison Gurley, Marketing Director at Liberty Park. “He always helps out however he can, especially assisting with catering orders and marketing drops.“
Meet Maddie! Maddie is a superstar employee in our Taziki’s Alpharetta location in Atlanta, GA. A few fun facts about her are that she loves Taylor Swift, shopping, and hanging out with her friends and boyfriend. “Maddie continues to work hard day in and day out,” said Rachael Cory, Alpharetta Local Store Marketer. “She is adored by everyone she meets.”
